𝗖𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗛 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞 2025

Held at the 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐳𝐩𝐢 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐥 last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 8–12, 2025, the 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙒𝙚𝙚𝙠 gathered student leaders across the city to participate in various leadership workshops, seminars, and civic engagement activities. The event aimed to strengthen the youth’s role in governance, community service, and nation-building.

Representing the TCI Basic Ed Department, were 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗥𝗵𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗣. 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗼 (𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 11) and 𝗦𝘆𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗟𝗹. 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗼 (𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲 12) from the 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. In their 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 1 experiment on 𝙈𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙍𝙚𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙩, they used everyday materials like vinegar and baking soda to see which reactant runs out first and which one stays in excess — all while inflating balloons with the gas produced! 🎉

This fun-filled activity, facilitated by Ma’am 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐁. 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧, 𝐋𝐏𝐓 helped students see how real chemical reactions work and reminded them that learning is even better when you experiment and explore! 🔬💡

Through engaging discussions and practical reminders, participants learned how to stay calm, alert, and ready during seismic emergencies.
