Sharing Smiles: "A Community Outreach Gift-Giving Initiative For Orphanage"
โ
โWith hearts full of love and hands ready to give, the BSN 2-D students of the NSTP program embarked on a heartwarming journey to a Non-Government Organization (NGO) in San Roque, Legazpi City, Albay. This meaningful outreach was more than just a simple visit, it was a celebration of kindness, compassion, and community.
โ
โThrough our "Sharing Smiles" initiative, we came together not only to bring gifts but to share genuine joy, laughter, and emotional support with the children of the orphanage. Each smile we received in return was a reminder of how powerful small acts of love can be.
โ
โThis experience touched our lives deeply, reminding us of the values we uphold as future nurses not just to heal with our skills, but to care with our hearts. It was a privilege to bring light into the lives of these children, even for a day, and to show them that they are not forgotten.
โ
โTo the staff of this special NGO Home, thank you for welcoming us with open arms. And to the children, we carry your smiles with us as we continue our journey of service.
โ
โHereโs to more initiatives that spread hope, kindness, and compassion in every community we serve. ๐๐

This ceremony is a celebration of the students academic achievements and also a moment to give thanks for the guidance, support, and blessings that have carried them through this school year.
In this sacred space, we acknowledge the hard work, dedication, and resilience of each student. We also recognize the role of family, friends, and mentors who have been their steadfast pillars.
Let faith and wisdom guide your steps, and may you continue to seek knowledge, justice, and compassion in all your endeavors.

The Feeding Program and Health Education were the first community service projects our block completed. For the second, we conducted an interview and distributed some groceries. After few months, we reopened to carry out a new project that entails keeping the surroundings tidy and aesthetically pleasing so that we can breathe clean air. An unclean environment has a lot of effects on both people and the environment.
A program and activity about beautifying a community or the location was carried out by the BSN 2-G, last May 10, 2025. Since it marks a new phase as part of our wholistic development as nursing students, this activity was incredibly touching. We are grateful to Barangay Puro for granting us permission to carry out this activity, and to Madam Relucio, our NSTP professor, for providing us with the key to start this new activity. Additionally, we would like to thank everyone who assisted and took part in our "Clean-Up Drive: Act Clean, Breathe Green" program.
